How do you find me a tutor?

When enlisting the support of a tutor, you cannot be too careful. Online directories where tutors advertise cannot be guaranteed at all times.

People can sign up without being seen face-to-face. Some don’t even ask for a current DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) certificate to prove the tutor is safe.

Here, thankfully, we fully vet every tutor and teacher who joins the team. Identity, background, qualifications and DBS checks are conducted as well as a final interview by head tutor, Nikki de Villiers.

The final check is whether the tutor is quite simply a wonderful person with all the right qualities that you’d expect from an exceptional tutor who you can trust.

Connecting you to a top tutor

Initially, we offer you a free consultation where you can talk to Nikki de Villiers about your child’s needs. We also ask lots of questions to determine what your child is like, his/her personality etc.

We then match your child with a specific tutor’s strengths. Rather than you wasting time trawling through unregulated adverts and unvetted online directories, we’ll find you a vetted, expert Surrey or Sussex tutor who’s just right for your child.

Once the fee is agreed, we’ll put you in touch with the tutor to discuss your child’s individual needs. When you’ve agreed a starting date, the tutor will inform us and we’ll issue a first lesson invoice.

Rather than leave you to it, we like to stay in touch via email to find out how tuition is going. Or you can speak to Nikki on the phone or via Zoom if you need advice at any point. Our door is always open.

How can we help?
